Under each tab you will find how we teach each calculation method from foundation stage right up into year 6. We always teach using concrete resources, before moving on to representing this through pictures and then more abstract calculation.

Later on in the year we hope to host parent workshops on our teaching of the 4 operations, but should you have any questions in the meantime please speak to your child’s class teacher.
