Teaching Assistant Level 2
Monday- Friday, 8.45am – 3.30pm (31.25 hours per week)
Term time only - 38 weeks per year
Start date: 1st September 2025
Salary range: Grade E Point 4 (£24,404)
£17,272.16 (actual salary)
A vacancy has arisen for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support the learning and pastoral needs of children with special educational needs. This contract will be on a permanent basis with no specified end date. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and friendly, has good communication skills as a strong
Applicants should have;
- the ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- a work ethic which is driven by a desire to make a positive difference to those who need a little extra help through the day,
- the ability to use own initiative,
- a friendly and approachable manner- with a glass-half-full demeanour.
- a willingness to undertake First Aid training
Work experience in a school environment would be beneficial.
