Home Learning

Year 6, as well as the messages from us, and the tasks we have given you for home learning, there are 3 more things that can either replace or be extra to your timetable.
1.       Maths – Daily lessons and home learning videos can be found at - https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-5/
2.       PE - Every Morning at 9:00am, Jo Wicks (The Body Coach) will be doing free PE lessons and workouts on his YouTube channel -  https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1
3.       Literacy - At 9:45, there will be sentence stacking lessons (the same as our Literacy lessons) on Jane Considine’s youtube channel  - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuaq74gHBALPcb1nbJ1EF2Q. Like we do in class, she will be helping you write a story in chunks.
4. 11:00 am -  Elevenses with The World of David Walliams. Every day, David Walliams will read a free audio story. You could write a summary of what he has read, draw a storymap or picture of what he is describing, list key adjectives and verbs or just simply listen and enjoy! https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/

It's Friday and another week of home learning complete!

Don't forget today is our weekly TT Rockstars battle between 6CC and 6SO - will 6SO knock 6CC off the top spot this week? 9am - 3.30pm

Todays learning

Maths - Daily lesson from 12th May, multiply fractions by fractions, https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons

Reading - Read your reading book to an adult at home. How are the characters feeling? Do they all feel the same? How do you know?

Next week is half term, which mean us  teachers won't be setting any home learning. Make sure you take time to rest, laugh  and enjoy yourselves. Most importantly have fun with your family!!

We are missing you all loads and loads and loads :D
