Friday 22nd May 2020

Year 3, we wish you a very good morning. Another beautiful day yesterday,  let's hope it carries on this way!

We have reached the end of another term, where we have been learning in a way which none of us could ever have envisaged. We have received some truly amazing emails from you during this term. Thank you to all of you who have been in contact to show us what you have been up to, you have no idea how much it means to us to have that contact with you.

Yesterday it was Battle of the Bands on TTRockstars for Year 3...

...the winning class was 3FJ. Very well done!

3FJ achieved 1383 correct answers

3SW achieved 860 correct answers

The highest points scorer in each class will be notified during the day.

Today is the last day for a week where there will be work set. At the end of today half term will begin, and we want you to enjoy time as a family. Be creative and be active. There will be new tasks set as we enter the final term of the year.

Carry on practising your times tables on TTRockstars, spellings on Spelling Shed and reading each day. This is a great time to get these basic skills embedded.

Remember to keep in touch with us, we really do love to hear from you. Look out for updated work when the new term begins.

Take care all.

Mrs Wright and Mrs Haines

2.       PE - Every Morning at 9:00am, Jo Wicks (The Body Coach) will be doing free PE lessons and workouts on his YouTube channel -

3.       Literacy - At 9:45, there will be sentence stacking lessons (the same as our Literacy lessons) on Jane Considine’s youtube channel-  like we do in class, she will be helping you write a story in chunks. Look for which one is available daily.

4.  11:00 am -  Elevenses with The World of David Walliams. Every day, David Walliams will read a free audio story. You could write a summary of what he has read, draw a storymap or picture of what he is describing, list key adjectives and verbs or just simply listen and enjoy!
