We would like to begin, by applauding all of your efforts and resilience through yet another lockdown. We have been amazed by the support and hard work, which has allowed our Croyland children to continue to learn and shine.
Each piece of work that we have received brightens our day. We know that you are facing the daily challenges of technology, time and maintaining the well-being of those around you, so we are so thankful that you continue to update us through it all. We hope that our feedback is as enjoyable and as supportive to you, as yours is to us. In these hard times, you have truly demonstrated the values of a Croyland pupil and we could not be more proud.
We would further like to thank those children in school under keyworker provision. You have adjusted to your new seats, routines and for some, even a new teacher and classroom. This is not an easy undertaking, but you have arrived at school daily with smiles on your faces and positive attitudes. You wow us with your maturity and resilience, as well as your caring natures. The lack of children in school is always felt and our weekly zoom calls continue to remind us how much we miss each other’s company. However, we cannot praise you enough for how you have coped with this difficult time and have come together as a year group, to keep everyone safe.
This all wouldn’t be made possible without the commitment and support of our families. Thank you to everyone who has dedicated their time and energy to remote education. You continue to fight new battles, find more stressors and learn as you go. We could not ask for more. The engagement we have seen is proof of your hard work and dedication to the children’s learning. You have allowed our Croyland children to find some normality and to continue to grow.
We are still uncertain of our return date to school, so for now we must wait patiently for news. Never the less, do not forget to relax and enjoy a well-deserved half term! We look forward to seeing you all back for our home learning/ keyworker provision on Monday 22nd February.

Dear Parents and Carers,
We have been made aware of a number of positive Covid tests within our school community.
We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England. This letter is to inform you of the current situation and provide you with advice on how to support your child. Please be reassured that for most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild illness.
Following our own track and trace procedures we have no reason to believe that your son or daughter will be affected by the cases in school.
If your child does develop symptoms of COVID-19, you must request a test. The results of the test will have implications on you and your family. You can seek advice from the NHS website at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/check-if-you-have-coronavirus-symptoms/. If you are concerned about your child’s symptoms, or they are worsening you can seek further advice from NHS 111 at https://111.nhs.uk/ or by phoning 111.
To arrange a test for you or someone in your family, you can follow this link. https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or by calling 119. Please remember that if someone in your household is showing symptoms, then you all must isolate until you have had the test result, at which point you will be advised further.
If you would rather talk to a member of staff for clarification, or simply reassurance, please use the following email address email@example.com. We will try to respond as soon as we can.
