Staff Vacancies

Class Teacher

Start date: 1st September 2026

Salary range: Dependent on experience   (TMS1 – TMS6)

A rare opportunity has arisen to join our happy and supportive school community, owing to the retirement of a long-serving teacher. We are looking for a highly skilled teaching professional—someone committed not only to excellent teaching but also to the care, wellbeing and inclusion of every child.

About the Role

Croyland Primary School is seeking a Class Teacher to start preferably on 1st September 2026.

This is a unique chance to become part of a school where staff turnover is very low and positions rarely become available. This vacancy arises as one of our much-valued colleagues begins a well-earned retirement after a long and dedicated career at Croyland.

We welcome applications from ECTs, MPS and UPS teachers. The role offers scope for fresh ideas, creativity, and professional growth, and we are able to consider flexible working where needed.

About Us

Croyland Primary School is a large, vibrant and happy school with a diverse range of pupils. We have a strong track record of inclusive practice, ensuring that all pupils achieve well and grow into active, responsible citizens. In October 2021, Ofsted recognised us as a ‘Good’ school.

What We Offer

We will support you in your professional role by providing:

  • Wonderful children who will never cease to make you smile
  • A nurturing, supportive teaching team with a focus on collaboration and professional development
  • The technology and resources needed to plan and teach effective lessons
  • A creative, forward-thinking team committed to positive outcomes for children
  • A well-developed curriculum across all areas, giving you the freedom to focus on pedagogy rather than curriculum design
  • A well cared-for, child-focused environment
  • Opportunities for career progression, including subject and leadership responsibilities
  • Strong provision for vulnerable pupils through a proactive behaviour, pastoral and intervention team
  • A leadership team who are mindful of wellbeing and work-life balance
  • For ECTs: a personalised support package and a skilled induction mentor to help you settle into school life
  • For experienced teachers: a supportive mentor to aid transition into the team
  • …and yes, on-site parking!

Join us and bring your ideas, skills and passion for teaching to a school where you’ll be supported, valued and inspired.
